The information collected from you is utilised to provide you our services, to let you know of any offers that may be beneficial to your current service and any other content tailored to your interests, and to be able to carry out and conduct business operations in relation to the service you have asked to endeavour to receive with in full accordance of the law. examples of how we may use your information are as follows

  • To create your client profile and manage your account
  • To be able to respond to any requests or correspondence
  • Process payments for our services.
  • To impose full accordance of the law and to act as a body to be able to justify possible fraudulent transactions.
  • To be able to liaise with third parties and companies to organise maintenance repairs and/or other services you may require for benefit of our services

If you as a client and Foremost Lettings have a legitimate interest we will endeavour to maintain the highest levels of customer service which may include the use of such date to respond to messages/emails or other such correspondence to ensure your needs are met. We have a legal obligation to protect you from any such fraudulent transactions or activity within your personal data account and to supply any legal request to supply any data to a third party.

 

We will not share or display your personal data for any other means unless otherwise requested by you and clear consent has been granted from you as an individual.

 Foremost lettings do not send any email/SMS/telephone or postal `offers` marketing materials or otherwise unnecessary documents or marketing materials. You will continue to receive all relevant information and communications via whatever means we hold on account for you. If you would prefer not to receive communications from us through a specific direct way, then let us know of this in writing and we will endeavour to justify your request.

 

Right to be forgotten & Data retention period

 As an individual you have the `right to be forgotten` and may request at any stage of an application process that you want us to cease the application and safely and legally destroy any personal data that we may hold on you (please refer to our terms and conditions relating to repercussion of fees during an application). We will only hold and retain data of your personal information on that which we have a legal obligation to and for a period of time that is deemed as long as `necessary` or longer if requested to by law.

 

Breach of your personal information

If we suspect or otherwise know of any infringement or data breach should this be via an in-house staff member or customer, other means i.e. data storage systems (computer based or hard copies) get stolen and we suspect that personal information has been obtained we will report this immediately to the ICO (information commissioner’s office) and to you directly

 

Complaints.

If you suspect that Foremost lettings has not legally obtained or stored and/or utilised your data in correct accordance of the GDPR policy and illegally please report this to us addressed to `the data protection officer` either via email to info@foremostlettings.co.uk or in writing to Foremost Lettings, SU46 Priory Meadow, Hastings, East Sussex, TN34 1PH. You may also report this directly to the ICO.
